Young people are interviewed and their "vox pops" on relevant issues make an important contribution to the Show. They are encouraged to be involved in the technical and production aspects of radio media. The "Captain Midnight Show" as the program is known, has been a well known and well used format in many other parts of the country and began on Heart FM with the first show in 2001 and on Coast FM in September 2002.

We aim to keep developing and promoting the Captain Midnight Show so that eventually it can be a key part of the opinion forming process amongst young people in Tasmania. It also serves as a connection point for all other areas of our mission process, building a community of hope amongst the listeners.
